A day of product testing. Products include Cover Girl 3 in 1, Elf lipstick, Flower Bronzer and Sonya Kashuk blushes as well as eyeshadows.

Foundation Review:

Covergirl Outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1.

Okay first of all lets address the claims of this product. First of all it's a 3 in 1. It claims to be a primer, concealer and foundation. It also has a SPF 20. My closest color was 825 in buff beige. The color selection isn't bad if your lighter skin tone. For me I feel like the colors don't have a very big selection for darker skin tones.

Alright, big claims, big claims. First off I never like to use this product without my Maybeline BB cream under it or Smashbox primer. I feel like it gets cakey and harder to blend in without. So it's claims as a primer is blech.
As for the concealer. I have dark circles and some redness on and around my nose. This covers my redness 100% but as for my dark circles, it does an okay job. I like to go under with a illuminator because it makes me look flat also it fades under the eyes the fastest.
This foundation CAN easily look cakey. But on the plus size it claims to be shine free and it is very matte, but around 5 hours I do touch up my t-zone with a little powder.
Okay sounds like I'm talking smack and I hate this product 100% right? Nope.

This product is about 9/10 dollars. Which isn't a bad price point. When I put my BB cream under this, this stuff is a dream.(Maybeline Dream Lumi BB cream $6.44 at Walmart) I use the BB cream as my primer, put this over it and it leaves such a nice natural finish. I love this look! Some people try on a product and say, oh it's no good. Sometimes it just needs some help from other products. I like to make products work, I like to experiment and play with things. I've even gotten dollar store concealers to look decent.
All and all I love this product. This and the Revlon color stay 24 hour(which I recommend for darker skin tones since I feel like their color selection is better) are my favorite drugstore foundations. I recommend this for more of a natural, no makeup sort of look.

Now time for the last part of my review and a pretty average problem with SPF foundations(and SPF on your face is oh so important). This is my skin tone and with flash I turn ghastly. Keep in mind this is JUST the foundation over my skin. Dusting a little colored powder on your skin will help prevent this from happening.(Also as I said I only have the foundation on, it looks a lot less ghasty with a full finished face) But this is to show before and after as well as the effects of flash on my face.
Also I didn't do my hair so ignore my fly aways and cray cray hair.

Before(Flash):

Before(No Flash)
After(Flash): My hair omg awwwful and man this turned me ghastly.
After(No Flash): See I'm not crazy it's not a terrible match
Yes this is the closest tone to my skin, inrl it actually appears to be a bit tanner on my face. Cellphone pictures are the bomb huh?

I have worn this with and without a primer and the staying power is good. While the primer portion of this 3 in 1 does not make it apply smoother it does have long lasting staying power. After about 6 hours I had notice it had gotten a bit funky around my fine lines mainly in the under eye and smile line area but nothing severe. That was it as far as budging. It stayed on my face until I took it off after work a good 9 hours. The only difference of using my BB cream or primer under it won't get into my lines as much. Usually will in my under eye area regardless but I use No.7 under eye illuminator and set it with a powder and nothing gets into my fine lies after that. But with nothing on top of it it'll likely do the same for you, I've read other reviews where people had 5the same problem

This product retails anywhere from $8 to $10. It's a drugstore product and most places like CVS and Walgreens will let you return the product if you hate it. So it's worth a try. What's your opinion?

Skincare Review: Aveeno Daily Clensing Pads

Skincare Review:
Okay, so normally I wouldn't judge skincare so soon BUT maybe this is a good thing. I had results the first time I used this. Which is a good thing. My skin looked glowy from first use. My skin also felt soft after first use.

This product claims: Gentle enough for everyday use and sensitive skin.
I have been using this everyday and it is lovely. My skin isn't always sensitive, just sometimes. What is sensitive is my nose. If I get a wiff of a product that messes with my allergy I will sneeze for at-least a hour. It's terrible. However, with this. It has a lovely light scent to it.

In clinical testing, 100% of women showed an improvement in skin texture in just one week. In four weeks, women showed an improvement in tone, dullness or brown spots, and you can too!
Like I said, after one use my face already looked glowy and soft. I have been using this for about a week now and usually I have redness on and around my nose. Ever since using this product it has gone down, which I'm really happy about. I've never had a product improve my redness none the less so quickly.

How I use this product:
Also on the back this mentions it's a good make-up remover. That being said I use this AFTER I wipe my make-up off with make-up wipes. Why? The wipes get the majority of my make-up off and this gets rid of the rest.(If I use the pads first then use the wipes it's kind of the same thing, the wipes get the last bit of make-up) If you have a light make-up day this will easily get your face clean.(Tinted moisturizer, BB/CC Cream type of day but not for a full face day) I use this at night vs morning to remove all the daily yuckyness my skin may have accumulated.

Love it, this product has become a part of my daily skincare routine. I've also used it once in the morning and once at night and it does not dry out my skin. I usually only use it the once at night though.

This is a drugstore product available online and in stores. I got mine at Target for $6.49 which is the lowest I've seen it. Prices vary on location.
